OK, we know it's bad....
And it's sunny and beautiful and we're home and........
Let's get to work, dammit!
There was one heck of a lot of sanding to do.
The railing, the posts, the steps...all by hand.
And then - time to paint.
With the proper equipment, of course.
We worked our fannies off.
And a good deal of the paint got where we intended for it go.
And after two days of hard labor......
We think it looks much improved.
Sunday will be spent doing the actual deck floor and steps.
Lovely! Post "after" pictures when the whole thing is done. Maybe with something tall and icy in your hands?
