Skagit Evening

We went out for a drive a couple weeks ago to see what we could see.

First, we found some donkeys (or mules - what do we know, we're Urban Hipsters).





One was standing in front of a brilliant field of daffodils, so we asked him to pose so we could get nice shots of him (her, it) with the flowers in the background





Then we spotted an eagle atop a telephone pole, also conveniently posing for us.


Closer, please......




After he (she, it) had had quite enough of being photographed, the bird took off but not before Nana/Mom/Lydia got a shot of the wings spreading.


Nothing to do now but wait for the tulips.....
