Thanks to a wonderful deal from Living Social, Lydia and I were able to enjoy a three night mini vacation at the beautiful Resort at Deer Harbor on Orcas Island.
So after Lydia finished work on Thursday, we headed for the ferry and the stunning ride over to Orcas.
The resort is just so pretty.
We were lucky to snag a "Deluxe Cottage"....
...with this on the front deck!
I thoughtfully brought many bottles of wine for evenings in the hot tub.
The resort is located on the water just above the marina.

And they had a pretty nice pool.
Being able to go over on Thursday evening was almost like having an extra day.
